Projekt obřího digitronu JP47
Jedním z mých nejvýznamnějších autorských projektů byla výroba unikátního obřího digitronu JP47. Tento projekt představoval návrat k náročnému řemeslu vakuové techniky – od konstrukce vnitřních systémů až po plnění plynem. Přestože byla sériová výroba pro malý zájem trhu ukončena, projekt JP47 zůstává důkazem, že i v dnešní době lze vlastními silami oživit technologie, které stály na počátku digitálního věku.

For many years, my professional life was tied to the company ELPL, specializing in modern metal processing and fiber laser technology. The Giant Nixie Tube Project – JP47
One of my most significant engineering achievements was the development of the unique giant Nixie tube, the JP47. This project represented a return to the demanding craft of vacuum technology – from the construction of internal systems to gas filling. Although series production was discontinued, the JP47 remains a testament that even today, one can revive technologies that stood at the birth of the digital age. Several units of the JP47 are now part of private collections abroad, including Switzerland.
